Forsyth Park

Dating back to the 1840s and named for Georgia Governor John Forsyth, Forsyth Park is a 30-acre public space located on the extreme south end of the Savannah Historic District. Surrounded by a mix of residential, commercial, and cultural uses, it’s a popular place with a diverse range of recreational spaces and uses. Designed to accommodate a mix of activities, it has become a true social melting pot. The park’s features include green-space, heavily shaded tree canopies, playing fields, tennis courts, children’s play areas an well maintained sidewalks.
