Similar to the all-inclusive Eately marketplace found in New York and Chicago, celebrity chefs Michael Mina and Don Pintabona opened Locale Market in St Petersburg, FL in 2014. Locale Market is a two-story, 20,000 square foot culinary marketplace that has helped usher in an amazing food-driven renaissance in a once-sleepy coastal town.

The first floor of Locale Market includes a meticulously-sourced grocery store, bakery, handmade pasta station, a butcher featuring a mouth-watering array of dry-aged steaks, juice bar and wine bar. Close to a dozen ‘kitchens’ are located on this floor serving an impressive array of prepared foods ranging from dry-aged beef hamburgers to sushiritos filled with fresh-caught seafood.

The 145-seat FarmTable Kitchen takes up most the second floor, while a small space has been carved out for a gift store featuring kitchenware and cookbooks. FarmTable Kitchen is a full-service and James Beard award-winning chef-owned restaurant. On select nights, the restaurant offers an exquisite, eight-course meal.
