Join The Jaxson’s Ennis Davis, Bill Delaney and Mike Field for a two hour tour past, present and future walking tour of San Marco, one of Jacksonville’s most popular historic neighborhoods. San Marco was formerly the independent town of South Jacksonville. From its first period of major growth in the 1920s to the present, the neighborhood features a wide diversity of architectural styles, including Renaissance revival, Craftsman, Art Deco and more. Today, the neighborhood is well known for its vibrant commercial district, San Marco Square, and for being home to many of Jacksonville’s best restaurants and bars.

The long proposed East San Marco Square Publix now under construction.

The tour starts and ends at Balis Park. Balis Park is located in the heart of historic San Marco Square at 1999 San Marco Boulevard. On-street parking is free. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased through Eventbrite here for tours beginning at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. Kids 12 and under are free.
