Sights and Scenes: Chicago's Fulton Market

For much of the 19th and 20th century, Fulton Market was Chicago's Meatpacking District, mostly made up of smaller, independent meatpackers and wholesalers. Once playing a similar role to the Rail Yard District in Jacksonville, this place where animals were once processed and sold wholesale, has transitioned into a modern mix of offices, apartments, boutique hotels, shops and trendy restaurants. Here is a short September 2021 walk through Chicago's Fulton Market.

McDonald’s opened its new $250 million headquarters in Chicago in 2018, after 47 years in the suburbs.

The ADMI Practice Support Center occupies the former Richter’s Food Products factory. Completed in 1932, the art deco building was constructed to manufacture health sausages.
