The Mission Reach begins just south of Downtown San Antonio near C.H. Guenther & Son’s Pioneer Flour Mill. Founded by Carl Hilmar Guenther in 1851, C.H. Guenther & Son is the oldest continuously operated milling company in the United States.

The Blue Star Street Industrial Historic District is a collection of former San Antonio Belt and Terminal Railway Company warehouses constructed between 1917 and 1934. In 1985, this collection of warehouses was acquired and converted into a mix of residential and commercial spaces.
