A trip inside Yuengling: America's largest craft brewer

Established in 1829, D. G. Yuengling & Son is the oldest continuously operating brewing company in the United States. Based on volume of beer sold in 2018, it is also the top craft beer company in the country.

7. The “government room” contains several tanks capable of holding 1160 barrels of beer each. Here, 401,940 gallons of beer waits for full approval before being bottled, canned or kegged.

8. The brewery’s bottling line fills as many as 850 bottles per minute. In the addition, over 1,000 cans per minute are filled on the canning line and the plant is capable of filling 400 kegs an hour.

9. Yuengling’s tasting room has the resemblance of a small British Pub. Here, guests are treated to free 7-ounce samples of Yuengling’s various brands.
