Just outside downtown Jacksonville, a historic neighborhood's days may be coming to an end, due to the impact of flooding and sea level rise.
South Shores
South Shores is a small neighborhood located just west of Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, FL. Developed by Telfair Stockton during the early 20th century, the northern portion of this neighborhood may disappear as a part of a permanent solution to deal with flooding.
