Here is a look at new food halls that you may not have heard about, but need to visit immediately.

Flagship Commons – Omaha, NE

One generally doesn’t light up with excitement when the words ‘Nebraska’ and ‘mall’ appear in the same sentence, but Flagship Commons has carved out a sophisticated, 21,000 square foot, culinary detour within Omaha, Nebraska’s Westroads Mall since opening in January 2016.

The sleek space features rustic modern design elements that are all centered around a large, warm fireplace surrounded by plush lounge chairs, welcoming patrons to comfortably take refuge into a first-of its-kind Midwestern culinary experience.

Five new restaurant concepts have opened here, joining the expansion of three existing local eateries within Flagship Commons, blending an eclectic mix of both fast-casual and full service dining options. In addition to a dedicated bar, each food stall also serves a full menu of specialty cocktails and craft beer.

Notable concepts at Flaghship Commons include Clever Greens- a custom salad station, and Weirdough Pizza- featuring Roman-style, square-cut pizza.
