Incorporated in 1883, Bozeman is the fourth largest city in Montana with a 2020 population of 53,293. Located in an area once called the “Valley of the Flowers,” the city was platted in 1864 and named after John Bozeman. Bozeman was a pioneer from Pickens County, Georgia. A gateway community to Yellowstone National Park, Bozeman has become one of Montana’s fastest growing cities, doubling in population since 2000.
