This list contains major active and proposed developments within Jacksonville's urban core neighborhoods of Downtown, Brooklyn, Riverside, San Marco and Springfield. In the upcoming months, this project list will be expanded to include additional areas of the urban core, Duval County and Northeast Florida.

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center



Development Type: Medical
Description: 200,000-square foot cancer center as a result of a new 2015 partnership with Houston-based MD Anderson Cancer Center. Project will include a 500-space dedicated parking garage.
Status: Under Construction
Location: Two blocks currently bordered by San Marco Boulevard, Children’s Way, Gary Street and Palm Avenue.

Description: 28.6-acre project featuring 1,200 multi-family residential units, 150,000 square feet of retail and 200,000 square feet of office space.
Status: Proposed
Location: former JEA Southside Generating Station site
